With an established track record spanning over 30 years, Aidan Hart and Lawrence Holmes founded Inhouse in 2002, delivering 15 Years of Design Excellence for their clients. Inhouse is now one of the most comprehensive design consultancies in South Africa, where Aidan Hart and Phillip Wyatt lead as Directors. Expanding from offices in Cape Town to Johannesburg, Inhouse has an ever-growing list of high profile projects in the Interior Design Industry in South Africa and abroad.
Inhouse dominates the commercial design sector, with landmark, award-winning offices for ENS, Ogilvy, Old Mutual, Macquarie Bank and Union Swiss to their list of achievements. Other iconic gems in the hospitality industry include the acclaimed Carne Restaurant, 95 Keerom and Test Kitchen. Driven by a love of design, by a desire to deliver practical solutions, and by the spirit of its people, Inhouse continues to attract the country’s top talents to its studio, and to satisfy its blue-chip clientele.

With an Architectural Design Degree behind him, Aidan cut his teeth in Hong Kong and Singapore, working on large projects throughout Asia, moving from designer to Creative Director over a 4-year period. Upon returning to South Africa in 1998, he joined DHK Architects, and, making partner 8 months later, he jointly headed up DHI Design for a 3-year period.
After matriculating from Bishops high school in Cape Town, Phillip moved to the United Kingdom to follow his passion for architecture and interior design. There, he completed his Bachelor of Arts (BA) hons in Interior Architecture. Phillip has been with Inhouse since its inception fifteen years ago and now holds the position of Director.
Leveraging his extensive background and profound comprehension of financial intricacies, his exceptional skill in navigating financial complexities is matched by his genuine passion for budget control and design, resulting in a unique fusion that enhances his approach. Warren’s strategic decisions and meticulous attention to detail reflect his unwavering commitment to maintaining the company’s financial health. His proficiency extends beyond numbers, encapsulating an appreciation for aesthetic nuances that uniquely position him to oversee our financial endeavours with precision. Guided by principles of integrity and a steadfast commitment to ensuring the financial well-being of our organization, Warren’s role as Financial Director holds the promise of shaping a prosperous and innovative future.
As Chief Operating Officer, Lameez’s guidance resonates through the organization, harmonizing efforts and catalysing growth. Her unwavering commitment to excellence is poised to drive Inhouse to new levels of success. We’re confident that under her capable leadership, our journey will be marked by achievements that define the spirit of Inhouse. Drawing from her proven acumen in business administration, corporate leadership, and project management, Lameez is now at the helm of overseeing our daily operations.
