The brief required that two apartments on different floors be connected, and a total fit-out of the highest quality. The challenge was making clever use of the limited space. A glass staircase was introduced to join the levels, which were then opened out to the views and to allow natural light.

The select use of timber panels hides built-in closets and gives an uncluttered finish. The guest toilet was entirely finished in glass to provide a talking point around the dinner table. The marble wall in the stairwell was constructed from 9 matching slabs, which were hoisted in by crane.
