In 2007, lnhouse created three distinct design concepts for the rooms of the St Georges Hotel in Cape Town. The rooms had similar spatial layouts but the choice of design elements created starkly different atmospheres. The first room featured warm tones of brown and beige, along with splashes of green, contrasted by an otherwise white interior.

The second room design comprised a cleaner and lighter interior to the first, and made use of primarily white furnishings and finishes. The final design was darker and more robust and consisted of black design elements that gave the room a sophisticated and moody look and feel.
