To create an inviting lounge setting the team used lush velvet fabrics and painted the walls and ceilings in accent colours of green, blue, pink and purple which were taken from the wallpaper. The accent colours and wallpapers created the green and pink zones which gave the space two distinctive styles.
With the bar being the main feature, it needed to be distinguishable. InHouse incorporated the corporate logo by colouring the front bar cladding gold with LED lighting to emphasise the colour. By using elements of timber and mirrors to reflect the variety of materials used to create the joinery unit, the area became warm.
Lighting played an integral role in this design project as it was strategically placed in the space to differentiate between the seating areas. The logo was used in the front of the house area using laser cut steel mirror and backlit leads to create a bidding feature in the entrance space which was mounted on the exposed brick wall.
Room divider units of laser cut steel were also used with the logo, on the back of the house seating area to create a more intimate space.
